Went to catch a movie with sing "The other end of the line". We were so 'sianz' after the show.

This show is about a engaged Indian girl who working in an american company as a credit card officer. She learns to speak american accent during her job (after her job - indian accent), have a english name and pretends that she lives in san fransico as her identity. However, she fell in love with her client and flew over to meet him to find true love as she does not love her husband-to-be. In the end, they fell deeply for each other.

It's a nice story line. The bad thing? The indian accent they speak in the whole show. It so irritating, it's KILLING us. The longer we watched, the more we feel it's more of a bollywood show then hollywood.

2 things that is comforting (but is not of much help):

Handsome male actor.
Pretty female actress.

I would really rate it 2 out of 5 stars.

Although had a bad choice of show, but we had a great dinner.

HAPPY VALENTINES, EVERYONE!

Left a few minutes before valentines day will be over.. so.. thought of blogging to share what happened during this day full of LOVE.....

Spent a whole day at home watching DVD~ sad right? (anyway still sick, so take this chance to rest at home). Cooked dinner with dad to satisfy our stomach. Let just call it valentine's dinner??.. (Mummy included, but she nv cook) hahahah.... Really taste great, cause we ate it as a family~ Sweet!

MUM's birthday.

Celebrated Mummy's Birthday yesterday. . . Went to Warren Golf and Country Club for a simple dinner. I think that place is my parents favourite. The place is really quiet and cooling, quite a good place for a simple family gathering.

We ordered 3 plates of Fish & Chips and 1 plate of Chicken Chop as we were famished. However, we overestimated ourselves. We gotta 'da bao' the Chicken home.

Mum keep saying at the background: "Can't finish la.. Can't finish la.. Can't finish la."

She continued until me and daddy finished our fish, then asked the waitress to 'da bao' for us. so cute~

Daddy bought Mummy a birthday card for her birthday today.

Mummy told me: "Your daddy so sweet , bought me a card today." and revealed a big smile. So this is what happiness means i believe. (But i think a present and maybe a stalk of flowers will be fantastic.)

It was SJAB Zone 8 30th Anniversary Celebration on the 7th of feb. We had a 8 course dinner, performance and awards presentation.

There was a couple of performance. Each school is suppose to have a performance and our school did stomp dance.

Note to 小朋友: Sec 2's, I know this performance have been giving you a lot of pressure and confusion. But I hope overall all of you did enjoy. Good job with the performance. Love all of you. =)

I was having a really bad day today. Well first off to start with, my mood was not really good. Then i dropped my 2 months old phone on the roads (scratched till immediately become old phone - the only lucky thing is only the battery cover is scratched).

My hunting for new battery cover started. Went to a handphone shop - they dun sell it. However, they suggested I should try the customer care. I took their advise, went down to wisma. I was told that they sell the cover for $7.50 (I jumped for joy), but was told that there was no stock. Disappointed I walked out of the shop leaving my name and contact number. (suay right?!) As i was leaving, the person attending to me suggested I should try smaller outlets.

I took her advise, went down to bishan as it is the nearest to my place (along the way too!). Again I was told they sell it, but at $13.50 and they have stock. My face changed and questioned her about the pricing. She even said that I might hear the price wrongly. (I might hear other things wrongly, but when it comes to money. NO WAY! I m going to be future accountant ok!) I argued. No choice, she went to inform her supervisor and I was allowed to get it at $7.50 (The little luck today).

Throughout the hunt, had something to fill my big tummy.

Yeapp.. Just finish my LCCI course (level 1) yesterday. If you ask me, I am actually a bit lost. hahaa. But life has to move on.. so thursday will start on my level 2. =)

It's the fifth day of Chinese new year, let's see what are the activities I have done.

Reunion dinner - This is the day that we get to eat good food. This year we dun have steamboat, we had potluck instead! yummy!

We had:

Duck with Bean curd Skin in Preserved Bean curd sauce. (By daddy! - 5 star.)
Fried Wanton.
Chicken.
Pig Trotters.
Steam Fish.
Cereal Prawn.
Braised Mushrooms.
Roast pork.
Mixed Vegetables. 'tang yuan' (汤圆）for dessert.

Hee.. Sounds yummy right? My apologies. I forgot to bring my camera out. So I din get to get a few pictures.

1st Day (初一）- Went visiting at my grandpapa's place. As usual, we had loads of fun. Dinner was again good although was left overs from the reunion dinner cause the more u boil the dish, the better the taste! ICE CREAM for dessert!

Of course, entertainment during this festive is not to be missed.

Me and my cousins had a mahjong session for a couple of hours. (No money played - healthy mahjong)
After dinner, the WHOLE family (Uncles, Aunties and children) sat together and started to play BINGO! (My dad and I won 3 out of 5 rounds! 3 Cheers to the D.D team [Dad.Daughter team] )

2nd Day (初二）- Visiting at my 'ah yi' (Aunty) place this year. Just had a simple lunch (pot luck as well) + Lao Yu Sheng (捞鱼生).

After so many years of meeting together, this is one of the years that I enjoyed most. Me and my cousins felt so close to each other (We are considered distant cousins - they are my mum's cousin's children), not counting the years when we were still a kid (when my great-grandma is still alive - cause we meet up more often). We played together, laughed and talked so much. *Happy*.

After, we went back to our paternal grandpapa's place for dinner. We had Lao Bao Yu - Abalone(cause cannot find fresh fish) and Steamed rice in Lotus leaf (Many thanks to Aunt Hwee Chee) + the left over dishes again! LOL.. But I must really stress the Steam Lotus rice is SO GOOD! *10 thumbs up!*

3rd Day (初三） - No visiting for me cause daddy says unlucky to visit people on the 3rd day especially relatives as there is a higher percentage to quarrel over minor things.

4th Day (初四) - Went to Sing's place to settle some undone business for SJAB. We had to scanning of pictures spreading over 30 years for a event that is coming up next Saturday (30th Zone Anniversary). Spend the half a day at her place doing all the work, then catched a movie 'Bride Wars' in the evening cause we failed to rent DVDs from the rental shop (they did not pick up the phone when we called them).

It was an unexpectally great show. It was totally a great show to catch it with your buddy or close 'sisters'. It really shows that true friendship exists and nothing is ever more important that your closest and most trusted friends!

5th day (初五）- Today, I meet up with Stanley and Sing to play tennis (Got sunburn). It was Fun!!! although we din play like a pro, but just having simple activities to catch up with your friends is just fabulous. After the tiring workout, Sharon met with us and we went to AMK hub to take Neoprints. (Stanley looks damn gay cause of the machine. It puts on auto make up for u).

After, me and Stanley hanged around Sing's place for a Wii session and a few rounds of tai ti.

Disappointed.

Spring Cleaning..

Did last minute spring cleaning all day today. Not me, but my parents. ^_^

I am exempted cause I am allergic to dust. (How lucky is that???)

Went for reunion dinner at my grandpa's place in the evening. An interesting conversation between my dad and mum just before we got down the car.

Mum: We just washed the car, got birdshit again. Want to clean a not ah?
Dad: (Silence......)
Mum: Sigh.. Nvm la. Bird shit means gold la!

Cute right? lol..... oh well~

I am trying hard to keep the sparks going... maybe i tried too hard. Although I have no religion, but I pray for you. Pray for you health and wealth. Family and love. Are we really moving fast?

After hearing what he said today, and spending almost one whole day with him.. i realised the 'feeling' is back.. the feeling that I really loved him and he will give me the happiness that i ever longed for. Can it be trusted?

Watched <<"赤壁2>> - [chi bi 2] today... It was a totally unexpected date, cause it was so last minute. My movie partner got 'dumped' by his ex-colleague and since we were so coincidental at the same place.. he call me up to watch movie with him to fill up the 'space'. hahaha..

Before the movie, we went to fig and olives for dinner. We had..

Fish Melted Cheese - Breaded dory topped with melted cheese & side mixed veggies.
Chicken Pesto Carbonara - Herbs Grilled chicken with melted cheese, potato mayo serve with pasta.

Sounds really yummy right?????

Movie ended, we headed to siglap - the cheesecake cafe to have a little chill time (anywayz friday mahz).. We ordered:

I met up with the 'girls' on Sunday. Many thanks and hugs to them for accompanying me to do my registration for Australian university. Without them, I think I will be so terrified and lost. (terrified cause the lecturers look really fierce and unfriendly - but turn out to be the opposite.)

After the registration, we went to vivo city to chill at coffee bean. My fav~

Yesterday, went for SJAB - Grade 5 Officer promotion interview. LOL... no words to describe how 'well' it went. So all i can say again is...听天由命吧！

Other than me and sing going for the officer's promotion, other NCO's from my corps also went for their NCO's promotion interview. - All the best to your interview guys.. best of luck! =)

<<3-Plus-1>> , trailer for next tuesday. The next 2 celebrity that is going to compete with each other is Christopher LEE (李明顺) and Mark LEE (李国皇). As we were watching the short 2 mins trailer, my dad surprised me a little.

Dad: Oh.. they invited him (Christopher Lee) to the show next wednesday. Now we can know whether fann wong (范文方) get to eat GOOD, YUMMY food when she decided to get married with him.

Me: Wah.. Daddy.. you know christopher and fann pa tor (dating) ah?

Dad: Of course la! Don't look down on your daddy hor... I very 'in' de. Updated with all the lastest entertainment news.

Actually i am really impressed my dad actually.. and proud to call him daddy~ ^_^

I just completed my Taekwondo Coaching course yesterday.

Theory paper was on the 3rd of Jan - I was able to do the paper with ease.
Practical was on the 4th of Jan - I thought i did alright but...... comments were:

Demonstration wrong with right explanation.

Demonstration with trainings aid was shown too late.

Slight correction done.

Haiz.. now dunno whether can make it a not... results out after 11th. All I can do now is 听天由命了(depend on heaven's will).

I went to my buddy's 21st birthday party on 3rd of Jan (after my theory paper) with a few more other buddies (the famous 5.. i should call us). We knew each other for 8 years already. But because of own commitments we hardly met or catch up with each other. Thanks to this party, me and my other buddies get a chance to get together again and had loads of fun.

Before we left at 11pm, (cause his neighbour threw down a note to ask him to keep the volume down at 1030pm!) we had the birthday boy to open his presents so we can also share his joy.

It's a new year for a brand new beginning. Throwing the unhappy past and look into a promising future.

New Year resolution:

Get my Taekwondo Coaching Cert. (working on it)

Get my LCCI level 1 & 2 Cert. (working on it)

Try to enter University, Singapore ones will be considered 1st if not Australia ones will come into picture.

Improve my relationship with everyone i know.

Bring SJAB peicai corps to a greater height. (with my buddy sing)

Move house.

New year wish:

Hope grandpa will get better and better each day.

Hope all my wishes come true. hahahahahahaha! i need a good genie!

Today have been a great day for me. My family had a new year cum Christmas cum birthday party (my niece's birthday).

We had buffet dinner, followed by cake and then everyone start to become Santa and exchange belated Christmas presents (i love the last part.. PRESENTS!!!!).

Hee.. i was so fascinated with the Christmas tree cause it is so so so beautiful. It's in a Arabic style of decoration which really made it very special.

Hanging Banner!~ So Tiring.

Today as everyone know, I went to my sec school to hang up the SJAB banners for the upcoming CCA open house. Being the 'tall' one, I got to hang most of the banners up. Hanging of banners may sound easy.. YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG!!! It's not only tiring, but it tests ur courage and helps you overcome certian fears. + the wind that is blowing really adds difficulty.

For instance,

I am afraid of heights, but.......

I got to climb up a ladder that is of 7 steps to hang the banner up. IF you have phobia of heights, you will know how difficult issit to complete this task.

Tired >.<~~~

So, after a few attempt of going up and down the ladder just to make sure that the banner is tight and straight. My 'team' and I finally got the banner up.

Next, will be the 3-4 meter long banner that took us almost 45 mins to hang it up. Mostly because of the wind that is making things more difficult. (p.s the banner is damn heavy)

So after hanging the 2 banners that took up most of our energy, we decided that the rest of the banners that are chosen to be hung at other places of the school will be kept back into the cupboard and will be brought out at a later date when we are more free and full of energy!!

*My poor baby is sick! Stupid weather......

Hi guys,

Sorry for not updating. Have been pretty busy with my courses and I have been spending most my free time making a video from the contents taken from my shanghai trip a month ago. + i couldn't find a topic to blog about. So today, I cracked my brain and I decided to blog bout my time-table for next week to share how will I be spending my new year.

My time tables are as follows:

29th Dec (Monday) - Hanging of SJAB banner in school, getting ready for 2009' recruitment. + admin stuff with the teacher.
*time allocated for SJAB.

30th Dec (Tuesday) - Meet up with my TKD teacher for advise on my practical exam. (I got to do up this lesson plan on how i m going to teach kids how to do a specific stance. Sounds easy? It NOT!)
*time allocated for TKD.

31st Dec (Wedesday) - Most probably meet up my TKD teacher again! (like i say.. the lesson plan is not easy). Next, going to meet my cousins for stay over at aunt's house to countdown.
*time allocated for TKD and family.

1st January (Thursday) - New year party at my aunt's place. YAY!
*time allocated for family.

2nd January (Friday) - Studying TKD theory book and rush lesson plan. (Exam on the 3rd, that explains the 'rush'.)
*time allocated for TKD.

3rd January (Saturday) - Exam on the Coaching level 1 course. Next, friend's 21st birthday party at night.
*time allocated for TKD and friend.

4th January (Sunday) - Do Shanghai video. =)

As all of you can see, much time is allocated to TKD. I don't have a choice, I must pass the course! It cost me s$105, not cheap okay! + If i don't pass.... means i wasted all my effort in the past 2 weekends going through the course - listening to boring lectures and grueling practical lessons.

So anyone who wants to meet up with me? Give me a call on my hand phone. I will try to squeeze out the extra time for you. But please, you got to suit my timing! only for this week....

Christmas Present Collecting~

I have to say that i really dun like the little nonya show (小娘惹). It was alright in the beginning with a good ending of Juxiang and Yamamoto Yousuke (although they died but they are together) and then Yueniang and Chen xi fell in love. But Yuzhu got raped by a beast??! And now Yueniang, Chen xi are not together? Erm???? How can this be happening? + history just keeps repeating itself.. Just so irritating!!!!! Just dampen my mood.

The actors and actresses act really well, I must agree (cause they make me happy, sad and ANGRY!). But.. the plot? Too draggy and too emo! But the funny thing is i can't stop watching. Maybe i hope there will be happy ending or happy parts that is worth watching. Hope the ending is worth my time.

Yu Zhu n....... Cheng xi. hahahahaha.... no more other good guys for her le! Cannot pair her up with liu yi dao ma.. so i get her cheng xi. Anyway they look good together.

Today had a dinner date with dar dar.

We went to eat fish steamboat (鱼头颅) + a plate of black pepper dear meat. Sorry, no pictures cause too greedy and hungry, food served - inside our tummies within a split second.

He came to pick me up in his posh white car......... when i get in the car.. *poof* presents presents and more presents flew from the backseat to my hands.~ Made me so happy, cause i like to open prezzie (cause got surprises), very excited.

New Blog = New Beginning

Trying to start my blogging life again (hope it last long). Usually my blogging dun last for 2 months. Reason: lazy! But with many nagging and persuasions, there i am starting to blog again.

I have spent like 3 days on this layout till i got everything in order. I think i am really out of touch with the HTML codes and stuff, but luckily of my friends (IT experts) i finally got everything up and running. Not very professional, but as long I am happy with it. WHO CARES!

Throughout the week have been fulfilling for me.

As usual going to my book-keeping(level 1) course, the teacher actually says i have a talent in accounts (I do hope she did not say it cause i pay her! -quoted from many like daddy, jan, brother, sisters blah blah...). So after hearing her strong recognition of my ability, I decided to sit for the exam and get an extra cert, although cost 100 bucks! (aiya.. extra cert will be an advantage to me... how strong an advantage does not matter. This is a paper society. NPNT - NO PAPER NO TALK.)

Since we are still at the 'paper' topic, I signed up for ANOTHER course (Taekwondo Coaching NCAP - Level 1) which commenced yesterday (I know i very KS KS. But like i say extra cert will be an advantage to me. + another advantage is to keep my mum's mouth shut, cause i am doing something! not wasting my time off.) . Taking the exam on the 3rd of January, hope with i can pass with flying colours and then i can start my own class! Who want to learn from me?? (NOT FREE OF CHARGE.. must pay. Close friends and buddies got 1% discount. ^_^)

Entertainment of the week!

I went for K-singing with my brother and cousins! woot! Another family-cousin trip which i really enjoyed. We had like 6 hours instead of 4 hrs because they had a power trip while maintaining the air con for 30 mins (after 2 hrs of singing), and the system restarted after the 'hoo-ha'. So....... 2hrs + the 4hrs given = 6 hrs for the price of 4! cool! So since we had so much time, we decided to do something crazy to past time and entertain ourselves. *Reminder: off music first to hear our 'beautiful singing'.
